Inclusivity / Intention / Excellence

my school portfolio:

  • I grew up in Columbus, Ohio as the youngest of five daughters. Art and English have always been a prominent part in my life. Taking inspiration from the experiences and people around me, I began to fall in love with the world of design. I feel as though I can make an impact through my designs by my passion and craftsmanship of each piece. One of my great professors always told us, “Design for people”. That’s what I strive to do and what I will continue to live by.

  • I graduated from the Department of Design at The Ohio State University. This program is very selective as they only allow 15-17 people to be accepted into the major. I am extremely honored to have been accepted into this program as a Visual Communication Design major. I have learned tremendous amounts of information about animation, branding design, and typography. At the same time, I have received a minor in Creative Writing with a specialization in fiction writing. During my time at tOSU, I was the Co-President of CSCA tOSU chapter. I helped to organize events and connect students to the parent organization, CSCA Columbus. This has furthered my experience and confidence as a leader and a designer.

  • I began working in various design/creative experiences in 2019. I have worked with different businesses working as a graphic designer. I am also a freelance creator outsourcing my designs to different clients, social media accounts, and more. Based in Columbus, Ohio, I have had amazing opportunities to expand my potential from these experiences. For more background of my experience, please refer to my resume tab.
